DRAFT. was created out of the passion for design and a wish for a community-first space with coffee at its centre. Combining interior design, exceptional customer experience and an obsession with quality, DRAFT. is where likeminded people meet to connect. We wish to make specialty coffee culture uncomplicated & the ritual of coffee-going about feeling at home in a place designed for the senses.

DRAFT. Coffee opened its doors in Zurich in summer of 2024, with a second location in Basel since October 2025. Founded by Tobias Nagele and Felix Rocha and their shared passion for great coffee experiences. As an ever-evolving concept (hence, DRAFT.) our vision is to keep creating spaces that inspire, connect & push the limits of design and quality. Today, Tobias remains the sole owner of DRAFT. while Felix Rocha pursues his new projects in hospitality.

    DRAFT. - the “never finished” creative concept was born out of his passion to create exceptional experiences, starting with DRAFT. Coffee in Seefeld and now growing into DRAFT. Coffee & Restaurant in Basel. He is an experienced sales director in global fashion & sports brands.

    Chronically online & everywhere all at once. Bara is a passionate brand and community builder responsible for all things communications, PR, brand collaborations & more.

  • Store Manager Zurich & Basel

    Aleks is the queen of the castle(s) - responsible for our Zurich and Basel locations ensuring day-to-day business runs smoothly, team growth and supplier relations.

  • Head of Coffee

    You may hear him say that he has over 13 years of experience with coffee - and it shows! Nikos is responsible for coffee sourcing, drink development and company-wide quality control so that your coffee tastes the same on Monday as well as on Friday.

  • Head Chef

    Dimi (one of our three Dimi’s in the kitchen) is a seasoned head chef responsible for the curation & creation of our exquisite menus across all locations, as well as all our food concepts (catering, private dinners). When he’s not making incredible dishes, he’s training our kitchen staff & maintaining quality control throughout DRAFT.
